Johnson Creek
The Village of Johnson Creek is located halfway between Milwaukee and Madison and a short drive to Janesville at the intersection of I-94 and Hwy 26. 
Johnson Creek is mostly known around the surrounding areas for its Outlet Malls that offer great shopping with designer brands.  This growing area is also home to an AMC movie theatre, Kohl's, Menards, Autozone, new franchises, and a network of health care centers, including Watertown Regional Medical Center and Three Oaks Health.

Johnson Creek has been, and will continue to be, the most desirable location in the region for both business and families.

Utilizing population estimates from the Wisconsin Department of Administration, reveal that Johnson Creek should anticipate more than 160 new households and 350 new residents between 2015 and 2020. From 2020 to 2025, they estimate a further increase of nearly 150 households and more than 325 residents. It is worth noting that in the past these estimates have not captured the actual growth in Johnson Creek, resulting in the 2010 Census revealing the actual population was 27% (584 residents) higher than the estimates.

Perhaps the most notable growth factor is Johnson Creek's remarkable population growth. Population growth in Johnson Creek has been robust and sustained, with a 25% population increase between 1990 and 2000, followed by an increase of more than 73% between 2000 and 2010. Johnson Creek more than doubled its population during those two decades. Johnson Creek's population ranks it among the 25 fastest growing municipalities in Wisconsin, outranking another 575 cities and villages. In Jefferson County, Johnson Creek's population growth is more than twice that of the next municipality, and more than 10 times greater than the overall population growth in the County. Consider, too, that Census data shows Johnson Creek's population is younger, more educated, with less poverty and a median household income 12% higher than Wisconsin in general.

In addition to the safe, welcoming community, friendly people and vibrant business climate in Johnson Creek, traffic and transportation are distinct advantages compared to other municipalities. Johnson Creek surrounds the busiest interchange in Jefferson County, where Interstate 94 connects with State Highway 26. Traffic flows are impressive, with an I-94 Annual Average Weekday Traffic count of 37,220 vehicles and an Annual Average Weekend day traffic county of 42,394, both measured in 2014. In 2015, the average daily traffic exiting from I-94 to Johnson Creek was 9,700 vehicles a day. Combining 2014 measurements on State Highway 26 north and south of I-94 reveals an Annual Average Weekday Traffic count of 13,689 vehicles and an Annual Average Weekend day traffic count of 11,835 vehicles. In 2015, a measurement of traffic flow on State Highway 26 just south of I-94 revealed a daily average of 19,500 vehicles.

...the Village of Johnson Creek has experienced explosive growth for more than a decade. In 2015 alone Johnson Creek experienced growth of nearly 6%, resulting in more than $17 million in new construction in our community. Johnson Creek's amount of new construction in 2015 is the highest in Jefferson County by more than $7 Million, and is more than the amount of new construction in any municipality in Dodge and Walworth Counties. Additionally, the rate of new construction in Johnson Creek in 2015 was more than double any other Jefferson County municipality, and greater than any municipality in Rock or Waukesha Counties.
